Spotted a ‘97 Jaguar XK8 coupe for sale.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

49,000 miles, priced at $6900. Hope the pictures upload. It’s white, stock and clean. Being the middle of horse country I believe the low miles could be due to being a weekend car rather than just being in the shop. If this has maintenance records it’s a steal in my opinion. Even without.

This car is by far the most style per dollar you can spend.

Didn't see an ad, just what I saw in the for sale sign in the window.

Seeing the photos now - I think those are underappreciated. And that car was built after Ford taught the lads in Coventry how to build a wiring harness that wouldn’t catch fire. But yeah - I’d want to see the service history.

NP assuming you have sufficient extra $ for repairs. If not you will soon be trying to unload it in a Craigslist ad that contains the words “ran when parked”. At that point it will be a crack pipe.

Parts are fairly easy to come by, the drivetrain is common. people have been repairing these for decades so most problems can likely be prevented.

So long as you don't delude yourself into thinking a 20 year old jag is a DD, you should be fine.
